STOP. Stop ‘uploading, copying, pasting, posting, and repeat’. If you’re trying to sell something or promote your business or event in Jamaica on social networks; there’s a better way. We know the feeling; going from group to group posting your Blackberry for sale in Half Way Tree hoping someone, anyone will see it and buy it. There are many ways to get free International calls over the internet, but this is by far the best. You don’t need a computer or even a phone, all you need is a tablet or Android in Jamaica. This way you can make unlimited free calls to the US and Canada.
MagicJack has released it’s Android app; yes, there are MagicJack apps for other platforms like Apple, but spending $50,000+ on a new phone or device just for free International calls- kinda defeats the purpose. We tested the app on a generic $15,000 tablet running Android 4.0 in Negril. It worked better than any other internet phone (VoIP) app including Skype, and the tablet does not require a SIM card.
